1920's Murder Mystery

My husband & I celebrated our 26th birthday with a Murder Mystery Dinner Party. The setting was 1920's and theme was straight "gangsta" :P. Perfect for men to get excited about participating in! This was by far my most elaborate planning as far as the small details were concerned. I purchased the game from www.dinnerandamurder.com, I added my own special touches throughout the game!

I even won for best party in November 2009! Check out my entry and game details here!

Cavitt's 4th Birthday

For my friend's son I planned an active party for a really active little boy. When choosing a theme, I really try to pick something that will match the honoree's personality. Considering this boy loved all things sports- basketball, football, baseball, soccer, golf... you get it right? & since his family is really close knit, I created a family Olympic style party!

So for his birthday I helped his parents host the Fowlers Olympics! When the guests arrived they were told to go over to the craft table where white cloth was attached to sticks as a flag. They were instructed to choose a team name and decorate their flags.

Once the teams were set, the competition began. Each round had a different sport obstacle to tackle. It was fun seeing all ages compete and hearing their teams cheering for them! At the conclusion, 1st 2nd and 3rd place medals were given out. It was a really fun party that got everyone involved, from babies to grandparents!
